Michael responded promptly to our request and shared his availability and fair pricing. Two days after we contacted him, he arrived on time to our home and with three hours he built our furniture (a crib and two drawers sets) to perfection and set it up right where we wanted it to be. He even vacuumed the area and neatly cut the carboards and put the garbage in bags and into our garage. Lastly he explained some safety features. The highlight was that Michael also had a great joyful attitude and even showed my 5 year old son how to use the drill!!! Our son loved learning to build furniture. Thank you so much! On top of that, the installer was friendly and took a few extra minutes to give me some free advice on seasonal tires, which I really appreciated. As a first time homeowner, new furniture assembly is always challenging so I reached out to Assembly Man for help. Ivan responded to me right away and sending professional assembler (John) on the same day. He was highly experienced, amazing tradesman and has great personality, as he was able to assemble all four of my IKEA furniture items in a little over two hours (I was struggling to assemble one the day before). Review: AssemblyMan August 5, 2025 Service date: August 1-2, 2025 I recently had AssemblyMan come and help install five complicated pieces, as we are in the process of moving my mother into a retirement home. I requested a quote from AssemblyMan’s online form (including links to the 5 IKEA designs) and within hours, received an emailed quotation from Ivan (on a Sunday!). We then had a quick conversation on the phone to finalize smaller details. Michael was able to come a half day earlier than planned and also spent a full day the next day to work on our project. From start to finish, Michael was professional, friendly, and meticulous with the work he clearly enjoys and takes great pride in. Key to the successful and beautiful installation of our pieces was Michael’s fine-tuned attention to detail when leveling the frames for the pieces, against the uneven floor and walls. He also made sure to secure the taller pieces to the wall, which gives us confidence and reassurance that these storage pieces will be safe for my elderly mother to use. His attention to detail was extraordinary as Michael noticed minor blemishes and gave us the choice to either get IKEA to replace it or he’ll find a way to ensure it was not seen by using that modular piece elsewhere. Upon project completion, Michael cleaned the floor as well as the glass surfaces and outer surfaces of each piece. He also bundled all cardboard packaging, and helped me carry all the bundles to the retirement home’s recycling room. I would not hesitate to recommend Michael and the AssemblyMan team to anyone, and I will definitely be contacting AssemblyMan again for any future furniture installations. Strangely enough, this whole experience with AssemblyMan has also rekindled my appreciation for IKEA furniture.

I contacted AssemblyMan to assist my mother and I in assembling 16+ pieces of furniture (beds, chairs, coffee tables, consoles, buffet tables, night stands, shoe racks, dressers, etc.) and mount shelves and tv’s following a move to a new house. Ivan was so quick and thorough in providing a quote and accommodated a couple changes in our schedule due to a delay in getting our keys. Our assembler, Michael arrive on time and prepared and got straight to work. He worked long hours and was efficient, meticulous and thorough with every piece. He evaluated every piece for any defects from the manufacturer and brought even the slightest blemish to our attention. Admittedly we weren’t completely prepared and some pieces were not in the correct rooms and he kindly helped us move them and was very patient. Michael is a perfectionist and assembles and installs everything as if it was going in his own home. Michael and Ivan accommodated some last minute pieces of furniture and gave excellent advice and insight on the structural integrity of some of the shelves we ordered to ensure safety and ultimate satisfaction with the final product. Michael was efficient, clean and tidy (swept/vacuumed after himself and more, cut down all cardboard and bagged all garbage), and more than respectful of our home and family- such a delight to have met. Thank you AssemblyMan for helping us turn a new house into our home so quickly.
