The Story Behind Jon’s “Truly Impressive” Toronto Assembly

These guys are terrific! The assembly person showed up on time. He was very friendly, and came prepared with all the tools he needed — including blankets to make sure my floors and furniture wouldn’t be damaged during assembly. He obviously knew what he was doing, as he brought up possible issues before assembly. (For example, he pointed out that some drawers wouldn’t open all the way based on where I wanted the furniture, and helped me decide what height to pick for some of my adjustable pieces). He put everything together much more quickly than I could’ve myself, and he did a great job — the furniture felt very sturdy once he was done. His attention to detail was great. Not only did he position all the pieces exactly where I wanted them, he also put shims under my new pieces to make sure they were perfectly level and aligned with the rest of my furniture. He even broke down all the boxes and garbage, and bundled them up for me so I could dispose of them easily. Truly impressive! Customer service was just as great. They responded promptly to my emails and gave me a quote and scheduling options right away. Price was comparable to IKEA’s own assembly service. My only minor quibble is that, as of the date they came over, they didn’t accept credit cards in person, so I had to pay via cash, cheque, or credit card on PayPal — but the overall experience was so awesome that I didn’t mind at all. I will definitely call these guys again next time I buy any IKEA furniture. Highly recommended.
